The Ilha Verde Treatment Plant of the Macao Water Supply Co. is a highly automated water treatment plant with a daily production capacity of 180,000 m3, employing advanced water treatment technology from French Company Degremont. All processes (raw water supply, chemical dosing, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, water pumpage and transition) are controlled and monitored by computer, ensuring the compliance of water quality with EU standards.
