Elderly and Family-in-need Program

A: Requirement

The applicant should be:

    1. 55 years old or above;
    2. Holder of beneficial card ( Indentificação de Beneficiário) issued by the Macao Special Administrative Region’s Social Welfare Institute (Instituto de Ac ção Social)
    3. Resident of the premises with valid proof such as the recent water bill

(Please note that this program is applicable to domestic customer only)

 

B: Details of the Program

  1. Eligible applicant will receive free consumption of maximum five cubic meter of water each month. If less than five cubic meter of water is consumed in a month, no free consumption will be carried forward to next month.
  2. The company will only accept one application when more than one person living in the same premises is eligible for this program.
  3. The applicant still needs to pay for the water consumption over the said five cubic meters and the monthly meter rental.
  4. Once approved, the applicant is entitled to this benefit starting from the next billing cycle.

Please submit the application form together with the relevant documents (I.D.card and beneficial card) and its photocopies to the below address:

    2. Uniao Geral das Associacoes dos moradores de Macau (applicant’s personal information must be verified by Uniao Geral das Associacoes dos moradores de Macau)
    3. Rede de Servicos carinhosos aos idosos (applicant’s personal information must be verified by Ms. Lei of Rede de Servicos carinhosos aos idosos)

  2. The applicant should present a photocopy of the new beneficial card to Macao Water each time his/her beneficial status has been re-examined and approved.
  3. If there is any change on the applicant’s eligible status being the beneficial cardholder, he/she should inform us in writing or by phone within 7 days.
  4. If the applicant has moved out from the current residential address, he/she should inform us in writing or by phone before moving or within 7 days after moving.
  5. If the applicant purposely provides incorrect information, we reserve the right to take legal action.
