Connection of Meter
If you want to apply meter connection for your premises, please apply at our Customer Services Centre with the following documents.
- Photocopy of ID Card / Passport of the new property owner.
- Copy of Property Ownership Documents such as: Buy-Sell Agreement / Three-Party Contract / Title Deed of the property / Report by Conservatoria do Registo Predial / Recent Property Tax Bill.
Charges:
- Meter connection fees.
- Guarantee Deposit.
- Government Stamp Duty.
Change of Meter Size or Meter Position [Form Download ]
If you wish to change the size or the position of your water meter, please come to apply at our Customer Services Centre with the following documents:
- Photocopy of the ID card / Passport (registered customer).
- Recent water bill.
Charges:
- New connection fee (IACM license fee is required if excavation is needed).
- Guarantee Deposit (for changing meter size only).
- Government Stamp Duty (MOP $5).
* Registered customers need to fill in the application form.
Change of Consumership [Form Download ]
For changing consumership of your property, please apply at our Customer Services Centre with the following documents.
- Photocopy of ID Card / Passport (new property owner).
- Copy of Property Ownership Documents such as: Buy-Sell Agreement / Three-Party Contract / Title Deed of the property / Report by Conservatoria do Registo Predial / Recent Property Tax Bill.
- Recent water bill.
Charges:
- Outstanding balance of previous account(s), if any.
- Government Stamp Duty (MOP5.00).
- Guarantee Deposit: The guarantee deposit can be transferred to the new customer account provided that the previous registered customer has endorsed the original deposit receipt.
Guarantee Deposit Refund [Form Download ]
If you want your guarantee deposit to be refunded after the termination of your contract (click here to know more details), please apply at our Customer Services Centre with the following documents. (you may apply for the refund simply when you request for termination of your contract):
- Original Receipt of Guarantee Deposit.
Connection of Water Supply [Form Download ]
If you need to apply water supply connection to construction site or to a new building, please bring the following documents to our Customer Services Centre for application.
Temporary Supply to Construction Site:
Required documents:
- License for construction.
- Location plan of the construction site.
- Photocopy of ID card / Passport of the landowner or constructor.
Charges:
- Water pipe connection fee and meter connection fee.
- Guarantee Deposit.
- Government Stamp Duty.
- Outstanding balance of previous account(s), if any.
Water Supply to New Development
Required documents:
- Photocopy of the license for construction
- Location plan of the construction site
- Cross-section (elevation) plan of the building (with approval by DSSOPT)
- Inside Service Plan (including typical floor plans showing the meter position, cross-section internal plumbing diagram of property, specification of booster pump).
- Fire Service Plumbing Diagram (with approval by the Fire service company).
- Datasheet showing the floor area of individual units and its percentage covered in that building.
- Photocopy of the ID card / Passport of the landowner
* Applicant needs to fill in the application form.
Charges:
- Water pipe connection fee and meter connection fee.
- Guarantee Deposit.
- Government Stamp Duty.
- Outstanding balance of previous account(s), if any.
Reconnection of Water Supply [Form Download ]
If you want to apply for reconnection of water supply, please apply at our Customer Services Centre with the following documents:
- Photocopy of the ID card / Passport of the registered customer.
- Water bill for this premise
OR
- Photocopy of ID /Passport of the new property owner.
- Copy of Property Ownership Documents such as: Buy-Sell Agreement / Three-Party Contract / Title Deed of the property / Report by Conservatoria do Registo Predial / Recent Property Tax Bill.
Charges:
- Reconnection fees.
- Disconnection fee, if any.
- Outstanding balance of previous account(s), if any.
- Guarantee Deposit (for new owner only).
- The Guarantee Deposit can be transferred to the new customer account provided that the previous registered customer has endorsed the original deposit receipt.
- Government Stamp Duty (for new owner only).
Termination of Water Supply [Form Download ]
To terminate your water supply, please apply at our Customer Services Centre with the following documents:
- For registered user: Photocopy of ID Card /Passport.
- For unregistered user: Copy of Property Ownership Documents such as: Buy-Sell Agreement / Three-Party Contract / Title Deed of the property / Report by Conservatoria do Registo Predial / Recent Property Tax Bill.
- Recent water bill.
Charges:
- Effective from December 1 st, 2004, meter disconnection fee is waived.
- Outstanding balance of account(s), if any
- Final bill (Water charge is calculated until the date of meter disconnection and it should be settled within 21 days).
Remark: The request of guarantee deposit refund and termination of water supply may be applied at the same time.

SMS Reminder Service [Form Download ]
To cope with customers’ expectation, Macao Water is offering a new personal service – “SMS Reminder” starting from 1st October 2005. By subscribing to this service, applicants will receive complimentary bill payment reminders and other information from Macao Water through mobile phone. The application requirements are simple and it’s free of charge. Apply now!

Terms and Conditions
- This is a free of charge service.
- Regular customers will receive payment reminder two days before due date of both green and red bills.
- Auto-pay customers will receive payment reminder two days before due date of red bills only.
- This service will be discontinued without advance notice when there is a change of the user registered with Macao Water or a request for the termination of water supply.
- Registered customer may oppose the application for the service or cancel the service (whenever applicant is not the registered customer).
- The customer is still responsible for the payment of his bills on time.
- Macao Water does not guarantee successful delivery of SMS.
- Macao Water is not responsible for the misuse of SMS information.
- Macao Water is not responsible for sending incorrect/wrong SMS information.
- If customer receives any SMS message in error, please contact our Customer Hotline at 2822 0088.
- Macao Water reserves the right to suspend the service without advance notice or any responsibility.
