As the commitment to our community, the Macao Water has been offering internship programs to local institutes (i.e. University of Macau, Institute For Tourism Studies & Vocational Training Center of Government) for couple years.

In 2004, we signed an agreement with “n+I” Engineering Institutes Network from France and The University of Macau, we committed to sponsor a Civil Engineering graduate student to pursue a Master’s degree in France. Our sponsored student is studying in a famous French University, Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Electroltechnique, d’Eelectronique, d’Informatique, d’Hydraulique et des Telecommunications (ENSEEIHT). He enjoys the study environment & life style in France so much.

Furthermore, we participated the IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) program of Macau region in 2005. We will receive one overseas student to undergo his/her internship for 6 months and it is a source of cultural and academic enrichment for trainees and our community. We wish to create more opportunity for young people through different kinds of sponsorship so as to widen their vision and prepare future challenge.

We strongly believe that it is an effective way to develop young people through internship / sponsorship programs because the programs not only increase their experience in pursuing their career objectives, but also offer employment's opportunity to them. We have retained some students after they completed their program in the past and found that they adapted to our Company very well.

As a public utility, we have the responsibility to make contribution to our society. To develop people & provide job opportunity are among our missions because we care people. We wish the young people would be benefited through our effort.
